Plan #1 - Sealed Subwoofer EnclosureWinISD recommends a 1.55 cubic foot box for our sealed enclosure. We'll achieve this by using 3/4 " MDF for the enclosure with external dimensions of 15.5" x 24 " x 10 ". This will be a simple rectangular box. Modeling the enclosure we see that it has a 87 dB sensitivity and a -3dB (half power) frequency of 42 Hz. This box should give very strong output when it is combined with the 12dB/octave boost provided by most automobiles.
